Carpet Adhesive has been specifically designed for use in the Flooring Industry. Its heavy duty formulation is ideal for fixing Foam and Felt backed carpets, carpet tiles and underlay’s.

Carpet Adhesive adheres to most substrates, including wood, chipboard, concrete, stone, ceramic tiles, brickwork and plaster. It also bonds too many other hard surfaces including metal, rubber, glass and most plastics.

Carpet Adhesive characteristics also make it extremely useful for sticking foams, fabrics and textiles, to each other and to other surfaces as previously mentioned.

Carpet Adhesive is extremely easy to apply, firstly position the variable spray pattern nozzle to the appropriate spray pattern. Next ensure that mating surfaces are clean, dry and free from any contaminants. Then spray the adhesive in a uniform coating from approximately 25cm (10 inches). For applications on porous materials or to achieve maximum strength adhesion, coat both surfaces. Allow 1-2 minutes for the solvents to evaporate then press together firmly, working from the centre outwards to achieve a good bond. For a lighter bond or where repositioning may be required spray onto one surface only, allowing the adhesive to dry before pressing into place.
For best results the adhesive should be used at temperatures between 15ºC - 25ºC and stored at temperatures between 10ºC - 20ºC. Any excess adhesive can be removed with our Solvent Cleaner. After use invert can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.

Carpet Adhesive is available in handy 500ml aerosols.
