Fastgrip Super is a Fast Setting, High Strength Polyurethane Adhesive suitable for a wide range of bonding applications.

Fastgrip Super sets extremely quickly making it ideal for all applications where speed is beneficial i.e. in the carpet and flooring trade, for fitting carpet gripper rods, stair nosing and door strips, or by builders or shopfitters for fixing wall panels, skirting boards, dado rails etc.

Fastgrip Super has an extremely fast grab and high bond strength and is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It bonds to most substances including concrete, metal, wood, plastic, rubber and hard foam. One of the materials to be bonded must be porous or contain moisture, if both substrates are non-porous it is imperative to spray a light water mist humidity into the surrounding air.

Fastgrip Super has an open time at 20°C and 50% relative humidity of about 30 seconds and a skin formation time of 3 ± 1 minute. These times depend on temperature – the open time and skin formation times are shorter over 20° and longer under 20°C. The setting time depends on humidity and temperature, it is necessary in the case of working under 20°C to be sure that the pressing time is long enough and in the case of working over 20°C, to be sure that the open time and closed assembly time are not excessive, otherwise defective bonding could occur.

Fastgrip Super sets more quickly in warm, humid conditions and in this environment it is usually sufficiently cured to allow carpets to be stretched onto gripper within 8-10 minutes. In dry conditions hand spraying water into the atmosphere will speed up curing times.

Fastgrip Super is available in 310ml cartridges.
